I am an American Nurses Credentialing Center board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and owner of A Healing Presence. My mission is to provide compassionate, holistic mental health care to women from pre-adolescence to post-menopause in their health journey. I offers an integrative approach to psychiatry which considers hormonal, genetic, social, psychological, and biological aspects unique to women. Women often give selflessly, neglecting their own needs, ignoring their bodies messages, and disconnecting from themselves. Over time this can lead to worsening anxiety, depression, fatigue, mood swings, insomnia, weight gain, brain fog, stomach upset, hair loss, imbalances, infertility, and chronic inflammation. I have a passion in helping women overcome mental health symptoms integrating traditional psychiatric treatments with complementary approaches. Since earning my degree, I have gained significant knowledge and experience across dynamic settings and had the opportunity to work alongside esteemed colleagues who greatly influenced her growth as a practitioner. I have over 15years of experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings in the mental health field. Earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2018. I am passionate about education and has precepted graduate
level nursing students at several universities here in South Carolina. My aim is to minimize the gaps in psychiatric care and create a practice that meets individualized needs and values presence, respect, empathy, collaboration, and communication. My philosophy is that each person deserves individualized care that considers the whole person. My goal is to assist women in trusting in themselves and giving the body the ability to guide us in healing. Through the testimony of your Past, bring forth hope for your future.

I’m Hope Bryant- birth doula and childbirth educator.
I am blessed to be a wife mother of two (so far) beautiful children. I am also a registered nurse with a specialty in neurology but have always felt drawn to the sphere of pregnancy and birth. Although I am well-versed in “western medicine”, I believe that wellness can most often be achieved through nutrition, naturopathic practices, exercise, meaningful personal connections, and good-ole sunshine. Offering holistic care to expectant mothers from a Christian perspective is my passion.
It is my conviction that birth is a miraculous experience- what a blessing that the Lord chose to give the gift of ushering new life into the world to us, women! The Creator has meticulously designed us with this work in mind- no ingredient was forgotten, nothing is missing. I believe childbirth is meant to be a joyful and sacred experience. Birth and the transition into motherhood can be approached with boldness and confidence best when mothers are informed, supported, and prepared. A doula can help with that!
